About
**Please make sure you have completed the NEAT Challenge BEFORE doing this program.** The NEAT Challenge showed you how to burn an additional 200-300 calories a day without making major changes in your activity level or daily routine. To create optimal health, the next goal is to schedule regular exercise sessions that boost your energy expenditure and significantly improve your all-around health. As a result, you will work better, fell better, and even live longer! We also call exercise "EAT" - Exercise Activity Thermogenesis. EAT is any planned movement that's vigorous enough to improve overall fitness. The goal is 30 minutes a day of moderate activity for a lifetime of health and longevity. Because the NEAT system is already contributing to a large portion of your daily energy expenditure, the EAT system builds on this expenditure even more as you train and optimize your cardiovascular and musculoskeletal systems. By adding EAT - you position yourself to achieve the 3 core goals of the Habits of Motion System: 1) Increasing energy expenditure to create a consistent balance between energy in and energy out 2) Optimizing cardiovascular health so your heart, lungs, and blood vessels can deliver enough oxygen to keep your cells functional properly, especially your brain cells. 3) Building a strong, healthy support system of bones and muscles help you stay active, keep fit, and maintain a healthy weight. This program will walk you through the FIRST stage of EAT.
